Dance – Feel the Fear and Do It Anyway!
My husband and I are now in our third month of dancing lessons and we are loving it! We met dancing back in 1982 when I was a dancer in a 1940’s revue called “Stompin’ at the State” at the State Theater in downtown Cleveland. My job was to pull men from the audience and dance with them. Guess who I chose to dance with one night? That’s right, my future husband.
Twenty-five years later, we’ve decided to pick up where we left off the night we met. For all you men and women out there who are afraid to step out onto the dance floor, I highly recommend you take a few dance lessons. You can take private or group sessions and within twelve weeks, you’ll have the basics down to help you feel confident enough to dance in any venue. Don’t resign yourself to a lifetime of toe tapping – go out there and learn to ”cut a rug!”
